180 day hold? just wait or fight it?
 

Should I just wait it out? Or fight it?

Have people been routinely successful getting to their money earlier? IF so with what process?

Sucks I have over 3k in there and could really use it asap. Definitely do not want to wait 6 months, but guess I will if that is best.

the real question is --- what if you cannot get money even after 180 days?

many times, PP does not tell you if you can get the money after 180 days when account is limited.

I think the only thing we can say for certain anymore is that paypal make their own rules and regularly change them to make things more difficult for limited accounts , eg see the various " I cant add a bank account anymore " threads on here ....

I got limited only because I added EIN and upgrade to business account and was probably selling too fast is my guess. That and the upgrade to business has changed. Now they want SSN ( just last 4 ), and for some reason never asked me for EIN at all! So I used last four of EIN for SSN and a few days later - bam limited PP.

now that I'm limited they want photo ID, SSN, invoices, and more details about business etc.

why would people ever close a linked account though?? I plan to leave mine open until this is resolved at the very least.
