Theoretically which Country has The Best Paypal Account?
 

Hi everyone,

I was wondering , if a PP account were to be opened, theoretically which countries' Paypal account would be the best and simplest account to own, with the least amount of verification and red tape needed to get passed?

For example for the US Paypal, you need to add an SSN(or equivalent) after you pass the sales limit.

Correct me if I am wrong, I heard that the Canadian account is simpler and does require any verification equivalent to the SSN?

What about the UK / HK/ China / Europe/ Australia / Etc Paypal Accounts?

Anyone with any relevant info on this is much appreciated. Thank you very much for your help!

Totally depends on what you mean by the best

Most of the EU is pretty good as you can withdraw to a VCC

The Best PayPal is the one you can get your funds out of.....how many people open or buy US Ebay/PP accounts and never bother to plan on how to withdraw the funds.....

I bought a Canadian EB/PP combo last year to see about potentially reducing taxes, but haven't had much time to nurture/build it up.

Here's the pros and cons I've noticed so far with a Canadian account:
Pros:
-Ebay Canada allows you to simply put "USA" as the ship from location, while USA Ebay no longer allows this (they now require a zip code)
-Paypal Canada does not appear to require any tax info (for what it's worth, I've only received about 150 payments for a total of about $1000)
-Canadian PP's can be linked to a USA or Canada bank account

Cons:
-Listings do not seem to get as much traffic, regardless of where they are listed (Ebay.com/Ebay.ca). This could be due to my lack of attention on the CA account though.
-That's about it, really.

I plan to list some more stuff on my CA account in the coming months and maybe buy some more. Increased visibility/revenue is always a good thing. Has to wait until after tax time though. I've slowed my growth until I get that clusterf*** taken care of.

If you're not in USA, an account in a country that allows to withdraw your funds to a credit card seems to be a really good option.
