Outlook Users BEWARE! Even If You're Not Opening Paypal Emails!
 

I just realized a horrible thing

In Outlook, when you write an email, ANY email, there's a PayPal button at the bottom right part, below the textbox where you are writing your message.

And guess where the image of the button is hosted? PayPal servers.

So if you use multiple browser profiles / VMs and access the same outlook email from them to write messages (your personal email, for example), you could link your accounts.

Mozilla Thunderbird is a great alternative if you haven't tried it yet. Blocks external images by default. You can also do a little configuring in options to make it feel a little more like outlook.

Yeah well, I usually just use Gmail with External Images blocked for the stealth accounts, but my personal account is an Outlook/Hotmail one as it was registered more than 10 years ago.

And the PayPal image was not in the message itself, but within the web interface, so that's why I thought I should warn other Outlook users.
