Not Providing Tax ID# - What will Happen?
 

Hi everyone,

I was wondering, when you get the SSN request from paypal, how many days do you have to provide it?

Also, if you don't provide them with the SSN/EIN, what can you still do with the limited account? Will you still be able to withdraw funds out of the account?

Moreover, will the linked eBay account also be affected and limited too?

Not a certain number of days more about your selling habits will decide how fast they will limit you after tax number request...
After limitation you can withdraw funds no problem just no more incoming funds..
Yes will effect eb as the block pp has placed on incoming funds will prevent you from making sales ..
Options :: either enter a ein .. made as a llc its free to get
option 2 wait till after the 1st of the new year 2017 it will unlock and allow selling to resume . Not always on 1-1 sometimes its a few more days in before gets reset .. happy stealthing

No matter what at 200 items and 20K you will be blocked from receiving funds. It is not x amount of days.

I always get blocked at example 500 items and 9k seldom do i get anywhere close to 20k before getting limited for the year

But if you sold 20 $2000 items you may not get limited either. 200 and/or 20K does not have to be both.

22k and paypal or Ebay ask provide EIN Tax ID.
I provide when i got this amount
If you not provide , your account on hold and wait when you provide EIN number then paypal or Ebay check it on IRS
Don't foget it business and you need pay Tax :)

Anyone else noticed the ability to sell past 200 items since the recent site update?
