Funds Held by Paypal for 70 days, still not released - What to do?
 

Hi everyone,

For some reason, PP is holding funds of SWIM. The account is not restricted but has the 21-day holding period.

Some of the funds have already been held for 70 days! Is this normal? What should SWIM do to have the hold removed? SWIM have already supplied tracking numbers and the packages have already arrived.

Just call Paypal. It will take about 2 minutes on the phone and the overdue funds will be released. I had to do this on an account yesterday. We had about $500 in payments being held from the beginning of July. I called them up and the rep explained they were having some sort of issue with payments not being released on time. She said she would put in a support ticket to get my funds released. Then the next day all of the money was moved to my available balance.

Simple as that. If you can't call, open a support ticket in the "help/contact" page. Accomplishes the same thing, just not as quickly.

Yes Im having the same issue. Bangduck have you called pp and is your money still on hold? Anybody else having this issue?

Hi guys,

I haven't called them because I had a very bad experience calling them before. They did a review on my paypal and ebay accounts after i called them, and then they limited both right after. so for me, i always try to avoid calling them.

I am going to wait a while longer and see if the funds get released.

Like I said, go to the support page and open a ticket if you're afraid to call them. You will have your money released within 24hrs.

Yep same thing been kind of crazy lately.
