Established seller but PayPal are holding my last 3 payments?
 

Hey!

New here but I'm after advice,may be stupid but I can't find nothing on the internet;

Recently got established seller this month(funds are available instantly from eBay)

It's been great been receiving my money there and then.

But the past 2 days I've sold around 18 items? I've recieved held funds on maybe 1 then after that I'd get my money instant thought nothing of it(happend the 21st)got another one the 25th and again after got funds instant as I stated I've sold roughly 18 items past two days(26th+27th).

The last 3 payments I've recieved from selling on eBay have been straight into my pending balance I find this quite odd as I'm an established seller and 3 have gone straight into pending...

I've rang PayPal and got nowhere they have said there's no holds on my account.

My question is;

Has the system flagged my account and put them into pending due to high risk?(I don't normally sell this much over the span of 2 days) should I leave it a few days let them get deliverd and everything should be fine?

I have had that happen before. Even though I was established, money was pending...no rhyme or reason. Wasnt a high risk item, wasnt a large dollar amount, etc. Paypal and ebay both scratched their ass and told me to move along.

sounds like the jump in sales could well be the issue. maybe easing back for a while and trying to spread them out if possible would help or increase them more gradually so that amount of sales eventually becomes the norm.

If you change your sales pattern, PayPal may start holding your payments again. Ex: You sell only cheap items and then start selling high value products.

This sort of thing is pretty common

If a selling volume or pattern jumps then either eBay or PayPal can put holds on the payments again

It can last anything from a few days to a few months.

Thankyou for the replys I sold 5 yesterday all paymented were instant so I don't now what it is I may just keep the money in there for a few days after sale so they don't get nosey.
