What's the cheapest source of temp USA phone #s for creating Google Voice phone #s?
 

Does Burner work? Anything cheaper? I don't need the number permanently. Just need to setup a Google Voice account and then can dump the number.

Are you trying to use google voice to verify your ebay/paypal account? This is not recommended as they can now see if the number is from google voice.

There are plenty of apps you can try to use to setup google voice if you really want to use it. Just give them a try.

What do you mean by apps for setting up google voice? Don't I just need an existing non-google voice phone number and a web browser? I'm trying to set up an eBay buyer account. The previous person living at my new address must have some how gotten their eBay buyer account banned and now eBay has linked my real phone number to this address. I've heard eBay isn't as fussy about buyer accounts and that a google voice number may be enough.

Can Amazon see whether you're using a Google voice number?
