Advice Please- Use a landline or Non-local Area Code?
 

Hi All, I'm creating a new ebay/Paypal account.

I can use my home address because I've recently moved in, and it has not been associated with any other accounts.

But because I've moved to a new area, I still have my mobile phone number which is from my previous area code (same state, different county, about 2.5 hours away).

Like the address - this cell phone number has never been associated with any account.

Do you guys think I'll raise any red flags using my cell phone number?

Or would it be better to use my landline? I only question this because I read in the stealth book not to use a landline.

Cell phone number is fine as it has not been used before.

Do you have a landline actually? Or you thinking of getting one...

I already have a landline.

Cell phone number has never been used... only concern was the area code not matching the registered address. (although it is in the same state a few counties over.)

Just get a free google voice number

I wouldn't do that based on all of the others who've used Google Voice, and as a result gotten limited/suspended. Apparently Google Voice's numbers are highly recycled which means you're rolling the dice on possibly getting a dirty number.
