Lost Textfree # - now what?

I made a mistake and lost my TextFree number because of inactivity.

I know it was stupid...but life happened.

I can get another number that's exactly the same from Text free except the last 4 digits. Should I do this or is something else safer?

The account is already fully verified, has a VBA

Send a polite text to current owner requesting number be release. If that fails, sms spam the number into eternity. Number should be available within a month, or less.
