Tracfone - a few fundamental questions

So I've been going through these forums and even called Tracfone but I still can't seem to find out how to get a tracfone and how to get a phone number for it- I see some on ebay and I can buy those but I don't see a single listing for any new sim cards...can someone please explain to me how to use tracfone from buying it online to activating my ebay account? I've really looked and been struggling for the past day and a half with no good leads...thanks in advance!

You go to walmart and purchase a tracphone, then you purchase a reload card with minutes. Then you call the number on the card and activate your phone. Then you register it with ebay and get the 4 digit pin. Then you type it in ebay. Then you click submit and you're done!

LOL wow didn't realize it was that easy- the guy I talked to on the phone at tracfone tried to explain some random stuff which didn't really make sense- but thanks for the help lakeman!

You dont have to purchase a card if you dont plan on using the phone for outside ebay use - If you activate the phone online you get 20 minutes free. The phone is $9

That is correct Lakeman - the way to get it is to go to http://tracfone.com/ and register and activate the phone from there - easy

Tracfone has been on this forum forever - not sure if you can buy it in other countries though - Its just a pre paid celly.

The cheap $10 tracfones are going out of business- get them while you still can guys! Just went to walmart and found out that they're discontinuing the $10 ones so the cheapest ones now will be $15...LOL

I bought 2 Moto Tracphones for $8 each at a drug store near my house. It was an impulse buy right next to the register lol.

The cheapest tracfone I could find is 19.99?

I have never seen a tracfone for 9.99 at Wal Mart. Am I looking in the wrong location or something?

Different walmarts might carry different phones. At mine they are located right by the regular cell phones with plans.

The cheap phones at my walmart is not on the shelf any more and its been 1 week like that. The manager did say she ordered some in though. Prolly sells out b4 I get there.
