Using phone # which is used by hundreds of people

I will open a stealth paypal in UK ( i am in USA )
I have everything down but I'm wondering about the phone #. Is it safe to use a number which other people also use? I found this website https://www.receive-sms-online.info/...e=447397078536 and it would be really convenient and easy to use if it is indeed safe.
