chances of ebay calling?

i have my voip numbers sorted for new accounts, it only costs a couple of quid to keep them but do i really need to? should i just get a number to validate seller account and then cancel it an hope ebay never try to ring?

Keep the phone active at all times. Why? YOU keep control the account not ebay. What is a couple of quid a month to be have the security of knowing ebay can contact you & not give problems. Read these two threads. :peace:

More likely to get calls on high risk, and priced items. If you only have a few ebay accounts its worth keeping numbers going, I will be honest Ive kept all my main big UK numbers going, but my smaller or foreign other accounts have all lapsed, as they add up to quite a lot per month otherwise, a year in and no calls that I know of..

GB do you know if you put a mobile down as secondary you can mitigate the main number being lapsed?

?Main number being lapsed? '' Of course, during those home renovations so here's my mobile number.''
Can not recall exact date ebay UK said it was OK to have a mobile number but I use x2 in lieu of the main number :peace:

I don't remember where this option is but you can go in and uncheck requesting to have ebay call you. I think that is where they get a lot of people especially powerseller accounts with bad numbers. Now you start ripping people off or selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗ rollies then they are going to call.....the option will make it to where they don't place those random hey just want to check on you calls.

When we hit powerseller and even prior to on several accounts ebay would make random calls and actually leave voicmails acting like they just wanted to let us know of some type of discount or bogus.
