How long until paypal lets you use a new phone # for quick security check??
 

I no longer have access to the original phone number on the account so I changed it to a Google voice number.

Right now when the quick security check pops up it won't let me use the new number. It's a "Home" number so I havent done SMS verification.

How long until this new number is updated and able to be used for quick security check verifiaction?

it depends on the account, i feel paypal usually has "guidelines" but varies them based on your account history

in most cases, it takes at least a month for a new number to fully integrate in their system

on the other hand, if you keep cookies, it should almost never ask for a text

If you keep cookies and do not change IP, they will not ask.

how long new phone number can working on quick secruit check? one tell it is 2 weeks but it will only few of day if make it primary. true?

I switched a number 2 days ago but I won't know until I try in a few more days. I'd like to know also
