When does eBay usually ask for phone verification?
Hi,
I'm looking into cheap monthly prepaid phone options for eBay Stealth, and was wondering if just a month is enough? Prefer not to keep the lines running if not necessary.
If, following the stealth guide, I make a few new accounts, I would like to know within what time frame eBay would ask for phone verification (in instances that they do).
Please let me know your experience/advice, thank you!

Re: When does eBay usually ask for phone verification?
When you turn the account into a seller account they'll ask for phone verification.
It is recommended that after that point the number be kept alive in perpetuity.

Thank you for your response! So basically, usually they should only be asking for verification when turning into seller account, and after, unless there are flags, they shouldn't have to call anymore after 30 days correct?

Thank you for your advice! I'm curious as to what people who have many stealth accounts 50+ do? If they do keep their numbers, what options do they like to use? I know Google Voice is free but not recommended. Do many actually pay for a monthly plan for 50+accounts, and have a separate phone for each?

Slowly and steadily build a few - understand how stealth works and yes, it takes some money to make money with a good gameplan
Re: When does eBay usually ask for phone verification?
One of the reasons ebay or paypal might ask for phone verification is if you log in using a new device they dont recognise or if you delete the cookies on your current device.
Use a regular device and keep the cookies and its unlikely to be asked. Still a very good idea too keep the number live though just incase you need to use a new device and cant move the cookies over or you get a random request.

It happens with me each time I login because my IP address keeps on changing and also I use cccleaner to clean my history. So, keeping a phone number is essential in order to maintain account security.

Why are you using ccleaner to clean the history and not keep cookies in place?

I dont keep the numbers and if you keep cookies and same ip country , You usually wont be asked to verify the number although it happens sometimes when i want to list the item and this case i click on edit number option and use a new one .
