tracfone issue
 

I'm having an issue with my legit business paypal account. I added a new prepaid phone, its a tracfone, I was able to confirm it by receiving the text, but when trying to change the pin it says "we can't confirm its you" some sort of security glitch. When calling paypal they said that they can't send a text to verify the account because the phone is not showing up. He said that pre paid phones won't work with the account. Due to them not being registered to me, I said it is and its under the same address... Has anyone had this problem? He said I can wait a few days to see if it changes, but according to him it won't work with pre paid phones. Is that true?

Your phone is fine, phone number changes on PP usually take 7-90 days to update in their system before things will work again normally.

Make sure the old phone is removed and this phone is the primary number, then keep trying weekly until it works.

Thanks bro, I appreciate that. Yeah I figured it just takes a while, just found it weird that the agent would say prepaid phones don't work on paypal..... millions use prepaid phones!

And yeah I removed the old number and made this one primary
