For PayPal- Call forwading or cell phone number?

Has anyone had problems by having a cell phone number instead of a landline # in paypal? This concerns me when they ask for "confirm location" during a limitation.

If there has been any changes regarding the use of landlines only in paypal please let me know.

Thank you

I have used cell phones exclusively, until recently. A few months ago, I got a message when trying to confirm a cell phone. The message said that PP can not confirm location to a cell phone anymore. Perhaps they know about my brand of cell phone but not yours. I had been using Tracfone for accounts.

So what do you use now? A landline? Or what?

Thanks!

I've always used cellphones. Landlines and cell numbers are ported in and out so much now, there is really no way to tell where the number is ringing. VOIP is also a good option.

^^^^ HAHAHA SPAM!!! If you're going to try to get away with spamming the forum, at least don't make your username the same as the company you are promoting! :ban?:

Good initiative Bobby but you need to work on the presentation of your site a little - in particular get someone with a good grasp of written English to write you sales pitch! There is no such verb as verificate. A spell check wouldn't go amiss either.

May i know what it is ? and what can i do it, is there any optional method on it ?
Thanks

lmao @ the advertising smuck. lol good god. that was just awful. i have had no issues using cell phones for verification purposes for any type of account or process. i use pre paid phones and go through them often. ive never had this problem. i dont know how in gods name paypal expects every person in the world to have a landline. less and less people have them now days. its just another thing to pay for and is pointless for alot of people if you have a cell phone. who ever is encountering this i would just call them up and cuss them out and tell them not every person in the world has a landline and ask for another verification method. being nice believe it or not with people like this, doesnt get things done. in my experiences being pissed off and angry and inconvienced does much more for your case. if not, just keep going up the food chain till you get someone that matters. these people usually have an actual concept of customer service over customer policies. you get someone who actually matters, youd be surprised how they will bend the rules for a customer.
