Do you need for one time use only? there are some websites offering it for one-time verification use only. Renting phone numbers will be costly.

You will not find a German virtual number.
German anti-terrorism law severely restricts the use of German numbers.
Any service will require from you a process of identification and government approval.

Its not true, there are websites that offer German numbers for 1 time sms even long term rental.

the laws in most EU countries are strict so that you would not be able to get such a number without verification and proof of residence in that country

however , there are people who sell already registered sim cards on ebay and other sites. it costs more than a usual sim but no veri is needed

that can be purchased on ebay , the number must already be registered. germany is very strict on phone numbers , they now even have video verification for anyone buying prepaid sims and wanting to register
