Does Text Verified no longer work for ebay for anyone else??
 

because i think that's why I keep getting hit with reactivate account. its funny because i use a fresh IP and still suspended with tect verified.... while I use a dirty ip twice with a real cell phone number and no problem. It has to be the text verified phone numbers being the issue. I would assume.

Get a cheap sim to use as a number. I never have issues with fresh IP's.

I change the mac address of my router to either a random mac address or from a device I have. IP doesn't seem to be something that bans you outright typically. You need some other factor too from my experience.

I believe there are some sms verification services here in the marketplace. Might be worth checking it out.

textverified dot com. I know the developer. He said they were really using real phone numbers.

Wow, that's quite a coincidence.

In any event, they all use real phone numbers, it's just that the get abused. These services are okay for 'throw away' needs but if you want to create an online selling account where the phone number many be needed at many points in the future then you have to get something more robust and reliable.

I've never understood why folk put so much effort into creating an account for their long term future plan and can't be bothered or are too cheap to get a proper SIM/number.

They can't see your machines IP, they can't see your router IP. Pointless messing with it.

But in the world of stealth you assume that ANY re-used data is cause for suspension. Would I re-use an IP address - not a chance.

I never re-use any piece of data whatsoever. Nothing, not a returns address, not even a forename. Nothing.

I will however re-use the same machine, suitably formatted and I'll use VM's.

In 15 years or more of selling I have never been suspended on any of my many accounts due to linking. I'm not changing a winning formula.

They are now also offering numbers for rent, in which you can renew per monthly subscription if you to retain the phone numbers.
He said also that these numbers are not being recycled once used in a specific website, but we never know :)

I wouldn't believe a word they say, or trust their start-up to survive. That's how this game works. :)

Absolutely do not use text free numbers eb can see this and they will burn your seller accounts!!

When you say re-use an IP, you mean use the same IP on 2 separate accounts?

Is using Resi Proxies in separate Chrome Profiles the wrong way to approach stealth accounts?

What about Brave Browser with built in security measures like VPN + still yet giving each stealth account its own Brave Browser Profile?

I would avoid any browser such as brave/tor etc...the idea in stealth is to look like a "normal" user. I am finding that ebay/amazon are increasingly using more advanced fraud systems which screw with stealth accounts. VPNs notoriously can be blacklisted. Using a vpn in combo with a voip number can raise these flags. I think your method with the residential proxies in chrome is good, just be sure to clear cookies when toggling accounts.
