Pay go sim or pay monthly?
 

Does the ebay algorithm recognise wether a SIM card mobile number is pay as you go or pay monthly? I have made a few stealth accounts using guide lines in this forum. Although some crashed after few months. One I made with a pay monthly SIM card is doing well, even on managed payment’s.

I dont think there is a way for them to tell but I maybe wrong

No, I do not think it's possible - seems illogical to me how they'd be able to know that information. They can not disclose info with network providers due to GDPR.

I use pay every 3 month SIM myself...

Unlikely in the extreme if they can tell, even more unlikely that they would use it as grounds for deactivation if they could.

It is worth remembering that PAYG SIMs are easily forgotten and more likely to lapse. With the enhanced verification being rolled out then that could cause headaches.

In the UK a basic contract can be picked up very cheaply, I simply couldn't be bothered with the increased hassle and risk of true PAYG SIMs

They can easily see if it’s voip, pre paid or post paid not sure if they ban you or not just for that though

I'm not selling massive amounts. But using a vpn router, which my iPhone connects to and the laptop user which I'm using the eBay account on. I have even moved addresses. And managed payments still working fine. I'm not going to move addresses to where shall I say had problems with eBay. But now had 10 managed payments.
