Hi ANYONE KNOW HOW TO VERIFY A SELLER ACCOUNT ON EBAY VIA PHONE
 

Hi guys is their anyone who knows how to verify a ebay seller account using the landline number in the UK as my number dont work and comes up with a message saying cannot be verified could someone send me their number or an alternate way of getting past this by using a freephone number or phone box thanks

What sort of number are you trying to use? Is it a mobile?

You need a geographically located number not a freephone one.

Search the forum for 'phonebox method'.... unreliable and it is better to have a number you can keep for the life of the account.

I just use yahoo phone to verify my account, it working

ONce want to list on ebay, but asked for phone identity or email to get the PIN, if i am unable to phone verification, do i select email instead, if i chooe the idenitity by email, does it mean that ebay will sent a email and included a PIN on the email ?

So can i use the 0800 0r 0845 numbers to verfiy my ebay seller account or not as it says you cant verfiy it by mobile phone also is this a free trial service and can i cancel or do i have to pay for this thanks mate please pm me back

no you need a geographic number.... i.e. one with an area code that matches the town/city you use for your Ebay address.

ringcentral do a free trial..... you will have to double check whether the free trial includes a geographic number. It did when I signed up (I took a London number) but that was some time ago.
