Big Lots =Win,
 

Found $5 trac phones, on the back it says it comes with 10 mins and 30 days of airtime... Well, after losing 2 accounts on my work phones the last few days. I decided to break open one of my trac phone cellos.... $5 20 MINUTES air time, and 60 days of service. Tonight after work, i am going to stop at all the big lots in the area and buy all the $5 phones i see. Some said $10 but also had a $5 sticker on them, so obviously they are trying to get rid of them... just a heads up.

thanks for the heads up! i just recently started thinking of creating stealth accounts and will be using tracfones i will be checking my big lots tommorow.

I use Tracfones for all my accounts also. It says they come with 10 minutes but if you activate it online they will double the minutes to 20.

I'm on my way I have a few within a couple of miles. I might need a suitcase to carry all of my tracphones

They will only let you buy 2 at a time I think. I usually have to hit all 3 Big Lots to load up.

And, we get cheap items to list on ebay for feedback. The chargers i get are all the same brand, and works with my very own HTC touch pro 2, which is a popular phone, it also works for many blackberrys etc... so you can get 3.50 for them on there, undercut the powersellers just to move them and feedback

mini usb port chargers have the same size hole... that doesn't mean they have the same amp and voltage ratings. Do not use that charger to charge your 600 dollar (retail) touch pro 2.... or any blackberry......:boom:

Can you choose an area code NOT in your actual area? I need a phone number in another part of the state.

Yes, Tracfones will let you register in any area code, if they have it.

Why not just use Virgin Mobile then you only need 1 since you can change the number every 24 hrs. and use any area code as well.

Thanks Jbuntz, I'll look into that as well. I am just now beginning my phone solution search as that is my last step in my first account set up.

Any other suggestions appreciated.

It's a US thang.....

It's a prepaid phone offered through voda phone, it's basically prepaid subletting on verizon wireless' network

It's a very cheap and cost effective means to phone verify an account (in the usa)

And ebay will consider it a landline? I thought they knew when it was not a landline?

because for at least 60 days.... and 20 call time minutes, ebay and paypal can call you and you might be able thwart a limitation. 1 of my phones is down to 35 days. makes me wonder what im gonna do when it runs out. i take the phones most everywhere i go, even to work

I guess I missed the $5 sale. At my local store they were back to $14.95 :(

They have different models at different prices. My local Walmart usually carrys the $9.99 model.

You can always add minutes, by buying prepaid tracfone cards of ebay with your stealth account. They usually just email you the code.

They have been selling them at my BL for a year or two for $5-8 depending on the style.
The last time I set one up the 3-digit prefix was the same as AT&T carriers use which must make the phone look less like a disposable

cheapest price i saw was $20 for a card though. i only wanna spend $5 lol

Bizzy, they come with 20 minutes.. Topseller is saying that you can buy minutes if you need more then the 20 it comes with..
