just got back on after following all the advice. I just thought you may like to know that Skype offer a 3 month throw away telephone number, which was £10 in the UK. You can answer online - so when they give the pin just click the pick up on your PC and hear the pin number.... Lovely!

yep so any info you gave skype might get you linked to ebay/paypal

I'm 98% sure Skype is linked with eBay and Paypal. Skype is not an option for phone numbers.

I wonder how many people avoid skype because ebay owns it.

eBay spent $2.5 billion dollars on skype. News says ebay overpaid, but still ebay can keep people from having as many virtual phone number options.

I avoided Skype as an option just because ebay owns them. They own stumbleupon too which I didn't know ...

hi i to have had this problem in the past, if your in the uk, or even usa you can get a local number for £1.99 with voipfone, and you can then cancel that number and buy another, and keep on doing this for new accounts as needed,

hi i can buy on my ebay account but carnt sell yet i have my card and so on but i need a phone number to verify my landline i dont have a landline plus i tryed to sign up to voipfone but i need a isp email and dont have 1 to long to go in to but is ther any 1 that can help me all i need is my verify number plz some 1 help me

voipfone works and its really easy to do and it only costs about £2.25 for the number

yahoo voice/ voipfone all do US numbers...

what about ifi wanted a us number directed to a uk number (landline/mobile)?? will voip give me a us number to use? or do i have to give it one in the first instance?

If you wanna use phone verification for Ebay -. Yahoo is good selection you should use.
I always use Yahoo Phone In Services. It's always successful for complete verifications.
But about PayPal. at this time, i don't know how to do that. But It saids that someone uses virtual credit card ( vcc ) or real credit card to add paypal and confirm location.
