I just signed up as im trying (and failing) to get past the phone verification stage on my new stealth account.

my number is in this format - 080004182**

the number isnt being reconised, i dont know wether its being rejected or im entereing it in wrong as theres the 2 boxes (sorry im useless at phone related things)

can anyone help?

not a landline format thats why, need something like 0207 etc for London

I have to tell you, I'm not sure if it will work for verification, but I have a 4 line business account with them. Their service is good, the quality is nice, and business accounts have many nice features, like music on hold. I have 2 others as well.

Having said that, it is VERY DIFFICULT to CANCEL an account with RingCentral. Maybe not as bad as AOL used to be, but bad.

If you want to cancel a RingCentral account, I recommend CALLING them and to do it 14 days or so before the next charge hits your credit card. They will want to call back for verification (and to make a sales pitch) and the process can take over a week. Overall, you are only on the phone with them for 10 minutes or so, but it is spread out over time.

I just wish these services would make it as easy to cancel as they would to sign up.

And don't ANYONE get me started on AOL! :>

this is so annoying, everything is so easy but getting past this phone verfication part is just turning out impossible ive tried everything!

Have you tried contacting them online?

Can you use a re-loadable Visa to pay for Ring Central?
That way if they tried to corner you with a sales pitch,
You can simply dissipate.:lol:
