Phone verification.just use mobile number??
 

Firstly... im very new to stealth ebay. I mean my new stealth accounts been up and running all of 3 days. So forgive me if my

I dont know if anyone else here knows about this but i have done this twice. Once for my original ebay and now for my stealth ebay and paypal.
For a verification number you can simply put in your mobile number.
Where it asks area code, simply put in the first 5 digits of your mobile number. As 5 digits is the number of most U.K area codes

Example 07817 then fill out the second box with the remainder of your number
EXAMPLE 096781
So why all the tal;k of soho66 voip citynumbers when its so simple and cheap to buy a new sim card??
Of course if your trying to set up a stealth account you will need a new mobile number/sim card. They cost errrr £1 or around and you dont even have to top it up with credit. Just pop in your phone when setting ebay and paypal up. BUT !! If ebay decide to call you one day out of the blue. YOUR STUFFED.
Is this all old news or simply an idea thats been put aside by most folk as you could run into problems???? am i missing something

Too risky once they call you on it , they will ask for a landline number thats if they dont suspend you first.Maybe you be ok for 1 month even a few but why not limit the variables get a soho number for 2.35 a month.

Well my non stealth paypal account has had a mobile number attached for 8 years and it has been changed aaround 4 times and still going strong

so does mine for 6 years but also had one suspended when they found out it was a mobile, for £2.35 not worth risking for a easy nights sleep.

where can one get a omma phone at and is it $19.99 a month and what is the $11.75 per year thing about? I'm confused :confused: on the 2 prices.

OP, yes you are missing something, a landline is no use to verify a seller account. You can use any cheap voip number for that, doesnt even need to be local, a mobile is good as a contact number for ebay/paypal, have one on file.
