Hi everyone,

I have a question for those that use TracFone for their stealth accounts.

I set up 5 stealth accounts and they worked great for me to complete the verification steps, etc..but now the 5 phones are coming up on their expiration (1 day left, etc).

Do you ALWAYS keep an active phone per stealth account? If so, I guess you are buying more time (I see from their site they offer a deal for 365 days for $99)

For me to "extend" the phone service on my 5 accounts, I'm looking at a $495 layout basically all at one time.

Still the $99 is WELL worth it to keep my account from getting closed due to a missed phone call.

I'm just curious on how many of you keep an ACTIVE phone per stealth account?

To be honest, and this just my opinion. I think keeping a working phone is overrated. I got forwarding service and the last 2 times I got limited, the email claimed they called... BS!! They never called! And my service is working correctly. eBay wants you to call in at some point, so I say use the tracfones to set up your account and if they expire, oh well. You will end up having to call in eventually, so deal with it then.

I use my1voice.com to have the calls forwarded to my active cell...It cost like $10 for 1st line and $5 for each line...I have verified with them and haven't had any problems...

OP, yes, it'd be wise to keep the phone number attached to your accounts as they will call you some day.

I agree with the above, if they call and the number is not working the account is history. And if you had a good account you worked hard to build you just did all that work for nothing.

Yes. Just buy more than 1 Tracfone since they're so cheap!

I keep them active at least for 30 days, when I think I may be out of the woods.

I had my stealth account for 6 months list some items and got the call from ebay to see if i had list some new items so yea please keep the phones with account active.

When buy new tracfones for account look for the ones that offer double minutes for life

hi disagree with this, the account will not be history just because the phone number is not working anymore. people move, people change cell numbers all the time. if your account was suspended for other reasons, that's another story...but just because phone number is invalid is not grounds for permanent suspension. you might get limited, but you can just add a new number to your account.

for ebay its diff i guess and the above infos is good. For amazon i do not keep the #'s, just make ur $$ in the first up to the $750 velocity and then push it into review for 30 days or turn it and burn it. but it does not matter about keeping the #'s. they never call you. and you usually dont keep most accts more then 3-4 months. so yes start making ur accts for the holidays.
