Does ebay call people in Non-english speaking countries?
 

I was wondering if anyone has been called by eBay in non-english speaking countries. I have never been called with my real info account in Turkey. But I have some stealth now that doesnt have a real phone number, I wondered does ebay call people in countries like Turkey. I dont even list in english or on ebay.com but on .fr and .de so I guess for all they know I dont even speak english.

yes, if you have an ebay site for your country then it will have native staff.

I join ebay.co.uk for all of my european accounts and I have never been called either. I guess they don't like to pay the bill for an overseas call,lol. They may request that you call them but spoof cards will fix that issue, even with a completely made up phone number.

I lived in Italy for a while and used my old UK account, yjey called me and to make it worse, paypal US called me in english asking if I can talk English, I thought they've gone now really nuts....

Thats ridiculous. I guess if you say you cant speak English they would limit your account and if you could speak English they would limit it for some reason other than that...

I have never heard of anyone in Turkey being called by Paypal or eBay, but now that I know I guess I will set my accounts up with a sim card, I have sim cards from multiple providers that are very cheap and I would use them anyways so its not a big deal.

I have never been called. Most of my accounts are based in Asia and over the past 3 years I never got a single call.
