Been a while since I posted but I have been using vumber and they charge $2 everytime we change the number so is there any service that will let you change the number for free?
I wasn't sure about myhostednumbers- if anyone has experience with that, it'd be great.
Hope everyone's doing well and thanks in advance for any input you can offer!
The complete step-by-step guide to get back to selling today!
Open a Gmail account then sign-up for google voice, once you finished using that number and want to get a new one, close the gmail account and the google voice account will be deleted and that will give you the ability to set up another google voice number with the same number you used to register it.

I had actually tried that but it wouldn't let me use the same number for another google voice...was there something wrong I did? But regardless, google voice wouldn't work because everytime you press "4" it automatically starts recording and there is no way to actually press the 4 key. Or is there?
it would not let you because you didnt delete the gmail account associated with the gvoice account. if you delete gmail the gvoice account gets deleted. once you do that open a new gmail account and open a new gvoice account.
The pressing 4 issue. use the gvoice in the gmail account. when they call you it will ring up in gmail and you can answer it on gmail.

Any help is greatly appreciated guys!
just don't press any button when amazon calls, you can speak the pin number instead. there is a way to edit the setting in google voice so that you do not have the "press 4" issue.
