using call forwarding, all on luck?

Yes, I've bought Amazon Ghost book and currently planning on venturing to Amazon UK.

In the book, a list of call forwarding websites are suggested, but like we all know, all those numbers are recycled.

Does this mean that all we can do is pray that our number is clean? Is this the best method?

I'm not residing in UK, I've solved every other problem but only this. Can anyone comment or share some tips / experience?
