If your number isn't working, eBay has been known to limit accounts until you can verify your number. So it's a good idea to get it verified.

Out of interest, did you request to sign up as a business account, or did you have to because of your amount of sales?

yoshis 02-21-2008 11:05 PM

I always sign up as business account. That way I can sell right away, haven't had a problem with that. Guess they figure if your a business why would you wait 30 days to start selling?

koalawash 02-21-2008 11:08 PM

Have you found it's easier on business accounts to start selling, than with personal accounts? I never tried registering as a business before, actually.

yoshis 02-21-2008 11:16 PM

seem to be. I had 1 business account got over 800 feedback in a month selling never had a problem.

koalawash 02-21-2008 11:17 PM

hmm interesting.. thanks.

As a registered Business Seller, you might have to give lots of information. eg All German ebay registered business sellers have contact addresses, phone# & emails.

koalawash 02-22-2008 05:08 AM

I'm not in Germany though.

GreenBean 02-22-2008 06:30 AM

Sie sind nicht in Deutschland?
OK. I meant that already in other ebay countries there is full disclosure of all details of a registered business seller with all their info on the listing. So maybe
later this change may come to all types of selling accounts....

I know, I'm just giving you the old "Chris Hanson" treatment. ;)
