google voice help!
 

I just signed up for google voice. I wanted to use the number for 1 new account, and sounded good.

Okay, I went on, selected a new number, and gave my old number. Sounds easy.

My problem is, I tried sending a text to the new #, and it wont go to my cell phone or come up at all. What am I doing wrong. DO I have to do something in settings. I thought it was automatic.

All I want it to do is foward to my cell, when I call the google number.

I dont think google voice allows to forward text messages, only forward phone calls. I have never heard of this before. But I could be wrong.

u can just do a text verification of new email account, then sign up for Google voice and add a forwarding number for a new acct. get a pre-paid and use that as the number to sign up.

Wow, I love Google. They have all the answers to the world. I will never understand why China kicked them out.

Cause they have answers to the world. LOL
Chinese government does not like to give out too much info to its people...
