Ebay/Paypal numbers blacklisted on tossabledigits?
 

Hi everyone, I registered a new ebay/paypal account and everything was going well until paypal and ebay tried to call me through my new tossabledigits.com number. When paypal called the number was blacklisted and now I have to verify my location through the mail. As for ebay they removed the 4 auctions I had listed and limited my account pending the phone call verification, unfortunately their calls are coming up as blacklisted as well.

Does anyone have any idea how to remedy this?

I wrote tossable digits....

i just tried tossabledigits on my ebay account that needs phone verfy and it dont work :( i used my g/fs phone to call the number i got from tossabledigits and that works fine but when i put it in ebay and hit call nothing happens

i guess the bastrds found a way to tell if its a tossable #

Same here, although the number is blacklisted by tossable digits so i was thinking more along the lines of ebay contacted them and told them to blacklist their numbers.

I had the same problem with tossable digits on an Amazon phone verification. Amazon will put a our digit number on your computer screen and then will call you. When you answer the call, you have to punch in the four digits/numbers. This process would not work for a tossable digits number.

However, it did work for both a toll free phone number and a cell phone. My gut feel is that tossable digits uses VOIP that is not accepted by phone verification systems.

Likewise, there is always tracphone and toll free numbers.

Has anyone tried the tracphones?

There are a couple of websites where you can get an 800# for $5-6 and either get it as voicemail or forward it.

I wonder if eBay and PayPal will respect you as a business if they see you register with a toll free number (actually 866 usually and not 800) ?

can use your real number to verify your account with eBay and PayPal, then use
your TD Real Numbers to post in your eBay listings and eBay store pages.:(

so tossabledigits is off the list.. :(

So it's tossabledigits that blocked eBay/PayPal. Not eBay/PayPal being able to see if it's a VOIP or not.

I got a forwarded tossable digits call from Paypal yesterday from a live person verifying me..is it just certain Paypal/eBay numbers that get blacklisted?

hmmm maybe thats why i got the old parting way email from paypal (2 months old),everything was going well but i never got that phone call as i used that phone company .I was waiting for the letter to come but now thers no point :-(
