I've just been looking into Yahoo voice... It seems you can accept calls on your computer instead of having them forwarded to another US phone # like google voice does

This is good for me, because I live in UK and can not get a US phone #

This may not even be the source of the problem but it is always a good idea to plan ahead for problems like these. A phone # should be on of your main concerns when stating a new account. Follow the guide and stay organized

It is old info - skype currently is sold by eBay to Microsoft, and many people use skype In numbers for stealth accounts .

Yes sure. And this is forwarding. I use another services and forward to skype. No direct from skype...
