So EB Sooner or later calls you??
 

Hi, just wanted to know this, is it mandatory being phone verified or something?? do they always call you?

Can't speak for the country you're based in, but in the UK eb called me to give me a code to enter in at a certain point during my account registration.

I've been wondering something similar to your quesion though: will they randomly call you at any time? For example if you have nothing currently listed for sale on ebay, is it still worth keeping the phone for that account always turned on?

It's recognised as being part of a'usual'/normal account that there be a working phone number.

Enough reports of accounts being limited, (on a temp basis) when no phone access has been achieved suggest it is sensible to have a working phone :)

Ok I see, is this a seller exclusive thing? Cause I have a very old EB account that I use only for buying, never received that call.

Yes. Sellers do get calls more often.

I must add that paypal have called me on both sellers & buyers accounts.

if you use GV then i would suggest to at least change the voicemail message that comes standard with the account.
