[100% Working] Phone Number Verification - Using Google Voice
 

Okay, i am sure everyone is aware of google voice now days, what there not aware of is that, with a single landline or mobile phone, your able to get up to 4 different phone numbers.

I will show you:

Assuming you have your google voice account setup, navigate to your settings

Here you should uncheck where the calls are being forwarded to.

For Example, you go to Wal-Mart and buy a 7.99 prepaid phone, well ater activating it, you will receive a phone number, with this phone number you can keep setting up google voice accounts under the same number, from what i have found is, they allow about 3-4(really depends) forwarding accounts with a single phone number


So pretty much, for $7.99 you receive about 4-5 phone numbers

Honestly, eBay and PayPal tracks a lot of alternative Phone Verification Methods, such as the android apps 'TextFree' which no longer works to verify your phone number. and there cracking down on ipKall which is a virtual phone on your computer where you can recieve a VoIP phone number to have all your calls forwarded to it.




Pros: Little money spent to receive multiple phone numbers.
Cons: Spending money in general.


Hints: use your friends cell phone, Use a payphone only if you have a mobile phone next to you with internet so your able to verify the code.

Thanks for this. Neat little trick with the prepaid phones, I didn't know about that. In your experience, have you had any troubles using Google Voice with verifying?

Google voice only allows 2 numbers to forward.

this is just not true unless something changed in the past month. no more than 2 can be setup before it is deleted from the original one

will google voice work to complete a phone verification for paypal?
also when ebay calls you for new accounts will google voice work for that aswell? thanks

Paypal doesn't do phone call verification.

Google Voice will work for verifying an Ebay Account.

can you use google voice outside the us?

If you have an existing USA number then yes. I tried signing up via proxy and it prompted me for another number to do verification.

sadly i don´t i wish europe wasn´t that slow in terms of accessibility of services like this.

Yes they do. They wanted me to verify my land line phone when I tried purchasing off of ebay today

Suggest you make a thread outlining your problems with this & getting paypal accounts limited.

Your method may be 'off'.

Hi,

i have a serious problem to start selling on ebay.com .I´ve created a new account,and try to list something,but before they asked me to confirm my phone number.
I tried the steps you showed,but don´t work.I´m located in germany.

Please can you help me,i tried now for days and get really pissed about ebay.

your right, but i have got up to four different numbers using one phone + the actual phone number it self, making 5 total.

However, if i do it week by week, i can only get 2 or 3 numbers.

If you do it back to back, you can get up to 4 numbers.

Just something i was testing out. its hit and miss, guaranteed 3 numbers minimum.

Because your in germany you have to obtain a us phone, to do this with google voice. as far as i know, google voice is America/canada only, i could be wrong though.

your best bet, is to either obtain a us phone somehow(off of ebay) or buy a phone number verfication off of someone on these forums.

One option would be to sign up to Skype on a US ip, get a Skype number, then sign up to G voice using that.

Or some other US virtual number

Problem with that is, you can not get a skype number free, cost money.

There are limited methods.

For verification for eBay and or pay pal for one account can I just get a prepaid phone ?

YES! this is ideal.

If you know the right companys online, which i am not going to list in this thread, i would highly recommend a prepaid phone.

Hi..Just would like to share. I use a virtual number from flynumber.com Then I registered to ebay and try to create seller account. Once when eBay make a call to me. At first eBay will check you as this

Voicemail from: +4083767400 at 4:51 PM
"If you are expecting the call, press 5, If you're checking this call, press 5, If you're checking this call, press 5."

I can't press any number because flynumber doesn't have phone button. So I forward call to a VoIP soft phone . And re make a call from eBay again. Flynumber can forward the call to soft phone. Then I can press number which ebay call me and ask me press it. Sure I do right as eBay tell me.

Then I get 4 digit PIN number from automatic call from eBay. I can create seller account. Then I go to sleep with happiness. Do you know what happened after got seller account? In the morning I get up suddenly when I check e-Mail. Oh..the account get suspended.

What should I do ?????? Or the solution in only land line phone or mobile phone?
