Notice of upcoming closure – Yahoo! Voice services
Dear Yahoo! Voice Customer,
Here at Yahoo!, we aspire to make the world’s daily habits more inspiring and entertaining. Clearly, communicating with friends and family is a central part of our daily lives. We’re focused on building products that are delightful and meaningful for users like you. In order to do this, sometimes we have to make tough decisions -- like closing down features that we feel aren’t adding enough value to the user experience. This helps us spend more energy on creating new experiences that make Yahoo! a great way to spend your time.
You are receiving this email because you have a registered Yahoo! Voice account. As of January 30, 2013, Yahoo! will no longer offer Phone In and Phone Out services to our users, although free Messenger-to-Messenger calls will still be available through your Yahoo! Messenger service.
Until January 30, 2013, you will be able to call landlines and mobile phones using your remaining Phone Out credit. You will also be able to keep your Phone In account active during this period. However, you will no longer be able to add new funds to your Yahoo! Voice account as of today, December 10, 2012.
If you wish to apply for a refund of any money remaining on your account, you can submit a request at Code: https://jajah.custhelp.com/app/answers/list , no later than January 30, 2013. After you request a refund via this link, we'll go ahead and close your account.
Thank you for being a valuable Yahoo! Voice user. We look forward to providing you even more delightful ways to use Yahoo!.
