Soho66 connection delay too long
 

Anyone know how I can get round this problem.

My soho number is taking 33 second to forward to my mobile when tested. eBay are calling me for 28 seconds, so the call never gets forwarded !


Any ideas?

You can change settings in the Soho routing wizard

I'll have another go today and have a play with the ringing seconds. and let you know.

still didn't to get it work and now I have tried too many times.....grrr! Gotta wait 24 hours to start all over again.

Anyone know a different company for the UK, p-p-please.

Soho is one of the better ones.

Have you tried their customer support?

I got the connection in 25 second this morning, but the got a 24 hour try again later please from ebay.

Its also through a vps that may be slow getting ebay to call the number so that is being upgraded tomorrow as well.

Tomorrow is another day, beer i think.

?VPS involved.

that might be part of the problems then.

If you are offered any customer service from the VPS company, maybe they might know.

I know. soho has been hit and miss calling me direct so I'll start there and then the vps. If not need a plan C!

Have had this happen once or twice, it's because the e/b call originates from the US sometimes hence the delay as it is taking several hops to get get to your mobile.

Route the Soho number to your landline for the verification call, it should come through a lot quicker, you can then change it back to your mobile once it's done.

I've not had chance to try again as been busy with other things.
