Trick to Get local phone number from www.ringcentral.com for free
 

If you go to Toll Free Numbers, Virtual PBX, Business Phone Service - Virtual Phone System by RingCentral, in the left side of the page, choose toll free and local phone number, then it will direct you to another page, choose "free trial" option, and it will ask you to input name, address (can use ⊗⊗⊗⊗d one) and phone number (the true number), then they will ask you to choose a local phone number (the one that you are going to use at ebay) for transfering all phone call to your true phone. Then you will go to the page that ask you to input credit information. Then STOP here and quit. In 24hrs, they will send you a reminder ask you to finish registration. Just ignore it and wait, in 48hrs, they will send another email says "OK, we can offer you 30 days free trial without your credit card info". Then you accept it and activate it. DONE! You have your local phone number for free for 30 days. I applied three number using my cell phone and other phone (each real phone can apply only one number). And activate my ebay seller account successfully. Will use this number for applying a CCNOW merchant account for ebay also.
Not sure if you need to call them to cancel it before 30 days. To play safe, I will suggest you to call them to cancle it before 30 days.

Already been discussed in member forums. Just be sure to edit the voicemail to make sure it redirects to your phone and doesn't activate.

Without the 24/48 hour wait....

Just click--close app--the "X" in upper right..
Then small box appears--says--:wait--ok we'll give u 30 days"..
then click "x" to close again--then
>> OK--NO CC Required!!! :)

Tried doing it but says I have entered the wrong verification code even thouhg I've put the right one in about 10 times...I'm waiting until morning:(

ringcentral does not work for ebay verify in canada
 

ringcentral does not work for canadian ebay member no more. i tried it last night, they don't allow me to use the number to verify before i sell. not sure if it was just me or for everyone else

Yeah I press the "x" button to close browser and nothing came up. I guess we'll still have to wait the 48hrs before we get our number.

HI: When i said "x", that means, close out the browser.. unless theyve changed it recently, it was aworking the day of the initial post..

Okay cool the method worked after waiting 24 hours I got an email from RingCentral telling me to confirm my account without using CC information. :)

Simpler method of working around the phone verification problem
 

Hi Everyone,

This is my first post. I thought i'd share a much simpler way of working around the phone verification issue. This method is instantaneous. Sipgate offer a free VoIP landline telephone number with the code of any city/town you reside in for most of the countries in the world. All you have to do is register with them, again using the "⊗⊗⊗⊗" details and they provide you with a local telephone number. They do not require any important information such as a credit card etc. All they need is an email address and some other basic information.

The best thing about this is that you can download their software absolutely free and receive telephone calls on your PC from eBay and Paypal. The software allows you to store contacts numbers, has a voicemail service and all the other basic features that you might need such as caller ID, recent calls log, etc.

I've only just found out about this 2 days ago and successfully managed to verify 3 accounts, so it is working fine. You can view the website by clicking here.

It worked! I'm back on eBay! Does anyone know how many times you can do this and have it forwarded to the same phone number?

I completed the first couple of pages today.
Went to X out the browser when they asked for a credit card.
They immediately sent me an offer for 30 days with a credit card verification.
I clicked the link but then X'd out the browser.
Immediately they sent me a link, giving me the service for 30 days with no credit card needed.
