Recieve ebay call and hungs up
 

Ok i receive the call and when i answer there is a 4 second pause and it disconnects. Is this because i am routing it to my cell phone? I dont have access to a landline right no so i cant try it. The call is forwarded by the way.

I have the calls forwarded to my cell phone with no problems. When I recieved the call I always say hello a couple times then the automated voice comes with the numbers.

Problem resolved. It wasnt a cell phone or landline problem. I have a welcome greeting on my business number and by the time the call forwards to me ebay already said the automated code. So i just deleted the welcome greeting and it worked like a charm.

Yep, it listens for a voice to come on, then it starts its code.

OMG. Lately I have been getting calls from eBay all the time meaning twice a day and as soon as I answer it hangs up? What the heck are they doing prank calling me? They are not calling to verify anything so it is really weird, but oh well, i will just ignore the calls.
