how to keep multiple Phone Num's forwarded to SAME Tel #
 

my apologies if this was already answered (I did the forum search and no comprehensive answers yet ...)

Since its recommended to keep your phone # ACTIVE in case EB or PP calls you, what is the best & cheapest way to forward MULTIPLE different Tel #'s to the SAME Tel #? I tried Google Voice of course but its limited to only 1 or 2 Tel #'s forwarded to the same number.
is it to pay for phone forwarding service and LINK it that way, if so whats the best or cheapest phone forwarding service?

TFF does NOT like being used on eB - and numbers have been auto-disconnected due to eB verification calls.

hapajenn1, since you are based in US, you should read other posts about Tracfone use and Google Voice use - you can have 4 GVs to 1 Tracfone - will work well.

I use flynumber and have some numbers forwarded to my cellphone.

I cant forward more than one gv to my cell. been trying to find a reasonable way to get some numbers for amazon accounts...

What has happened when you register your cellphone across multiple gv accounts when you set them up?

I'm not trying to hijack this thread but for me, this evening, GV will only allow 1 GV number to forward to my cell. I have 2 GV numbers and thought I could have them both forward to my cell but no dice. If I set up my 2nd. GV number to forward to my cell then the 1st. GV number gets bumped off the forwarding.

There are MANY phone forwarding providers. The trick is to find one that lets you set it up so that the forwarding number (your rented number) is transmitted over caller-ID.

I have about 20 active numbers, all programmed into my cell phone. I added each stealth name to each incoming number. So, I don't know WHO is calling me, but I know WHO I'm supposed to be when answering!

Try to find a provider whose numbers show up as landlines. It DOES help.

Edited to add: It costs about $5 per month per number, so it DOES cost a few bucks. But it is just another cost of doing business.

So due to the fact that security technology is always advancing with PayPal and eBay and having read this thread and searched others, how would eBay AND PayPal know they are calling a GV number if I have the GV number forwarded to my TracFone and my Tracfone is on so that eBay or PayPal do not get the GV message when the phone the GV number is forwarded to is not on ??

Also wondering how eBay & PayPal would know if I just eliminated a GV number and just updated my account info listing my real Tracfone number ??

What service do you use for this? Been looking for the best forwarding service for my PP acct phone #'s an $5/mo is a great deal!
