how to use call forwarding without having a phone ?

i used to buy virtual numbers from a friend who used to take call on some software that he had installed in his computer ..does anyone know of anything like this ?? i used it for ebay verification .. i dnt need virtual number for au us uk canada ... also i dont want to use my phone for verification .. can this be achieved ?

What country are you dealing with? You need to be CLEAR and to the point - you dont need au us uk or canada so what do you need?
