Text Me Connecting Issues
 

I have been using text me for a long time.

When I first started using it I learned that the eBay reps could not hear me nor could I hear them. I then switched to google voice, through text me. That worked for awhile but recently have not been able to be understood.

How can I call eBay with a phone number not my own (I don't care what phone number, I can just say I am using a friends phone if they ask)

Are there any free ways out there?

I use google voice, they have many numbers you can choose from, it works great.

I use text me all the time for every account.

the trick is to use your phone next to your router where the strongest signal is.

so don't use ur phones data .

use WIFI and make sure you are close by your router and everything comes through loud and clear

I know, but the text me number only lasts a couple weeks and then I have to get a new one. I cant find another option.

I am going to try that when I call them tomorrow DM, thanks.

I have the Same text me number for a year, as long as u use it every month you keep the number, so just use it a couple times a Month even if u call urself or text urself and you get to keep ur number if the account is not active than yes u lose the number

Sorry if it is a a stupid question, but how do you get multiple numbers from text me?
Do I need to register and log in with different emails and that
would be enough to get a different number for each account?
I had checked this app once, and they asked for a phone number.
I used my main phone no. What number should i put, in order to get another
number from text me.

I'm trying to get PAYPALS phone verification but it's not working. Can anyone recommend how to get past paypals PHONE VERIFICATION? Any reason why it's not working?

No, GV cannot use to verify on paypal ;)

You cannot receive any code if you use VOIP number as Google Voice to verify on paypal, but you can you VCC to do it :violin:

Hi, I am new to this also, I have a new stealth account limit 10-1000. I have listed 9 items and I went to list last item yesterday. It says that I have signed in from a different computer and they need to call or text me. I have the # given with the stealth account and have not the phone. Can I just put a new phone number in place of the old one, I have a tracfone or virgin mobile that has not been used with any account and then they can text me. I did buy VPN service but I thought I had listed under it. Please advise. Thanks

You should try only one PC to login ebay such us vmware, and save all of you information to do next times

Not all users NEED to use vmware.

why not buy a fwd service? they cost around 100$ a year or 12$ or so a month.

yeah virturalbox works too, very slow,but way better than a new user in my opinion

try buying a prepaid phone and make a gv number that way you have two numbers to vertify your text me numbers.
