Forwarding # in diff state
 

Hi, I'm phone verifiying my stealth account and the number that I provided is in a different state than the one I registered the account in. Will this give me a problem later on?

A bit confused, The number you are providing ebay to verify the account, is it in the same city as the stealth? OR are you providing ebay a phone number in another state?

If you need a phone number located in the same city I would suggest the following:
1. Google Voice (Allows up to 3-4 different GV numbers to 1 Real Number)
2. TextFree (For SmartPhone)
3. TextMe (For SmartPhone)

Sorry the number I'm going to provide ebay and paypal is from a different area code than the area the accounts are registered as. Google Voice doesn't have any numbers available not only in my city, but all of Texas.

If you have a smartphone like Iphone or Android you can try TextMe or TextFree apps. You can also get a Tracfone for a around $10+.

You should really make sure your phone number is in the stealth city or near it, maybe within a few cities.

I'm sure some will say...No problem or It's ok but why play with fire. No need to have Ebay/PP asking too many questions about your stealth account.

Be careful then.

Can be issues if the area code does not match the address.

I have a couple of accounts with phone numbers that don't match address (it is in the nearby city). No issues so far. I even had to call eBay for pass a newbie account MC999 for one of them and it went smooth.

I try as much as possible to get the phone number to match address. It makes the account stronger.

I gave the advice to reduce issues.

paypal has knocked accounts where the area code has differed.

I do have an iPhone. Going to download the app later tonight.
This app gives you a phone number where you can be called at/make calls? or only text messages?

The app offers Free Text Messaging, Free Incoming Calls, and about 8 minutes of Free Outgoing Calls.

You are new to stealth Sumer so keep the potential for hassles at a minimum - same state area code for the account as GB stated.

Up too as many emails you can make or run out of phone numbers!
