Using a USB Phone with GV?

I'd like to use a USB phone attached to computer to be able to make/recieve calls through my GV number.....

Can this be done? ive read conflicting info so far on the issue.

If so, how?

I just use the talkatone app for gv. More reliable. You could use it for android or iOS.

Shouldn't be if you use talkatone. Talkatone is an app specifically for gv, and it uses data rather than voice. For some strange reason, my gv app was trying to use my minutes instead of data. So, if you are using talkatone on wifi, it should be pretty clear and no delays.
