No phone verification listing 1St Item
 

As it says,

I know this is too good to be true and I am expecting the listing to be pulled any minute.

Is this normal these days to list a first item on an account and not get phone verification, just the congratulations page?

The account is 6 months old with 12 feedback from buying, is a MC999 about to pop up?

The item is safe, everyday item.

Same here - sometimes later on but I have been ok on listing 1st item as well.

I don't get asked on every account i start up.. its random.

This was an account on .com with information from another country, I always get phone verification prior to listing the item and it has to be a land line.

The account has sold through he limit for the month and I have not had a phone verification.

I have three new accounts to list on this week, so hopefully it goes the same.

They ask for phone verification on EVERY account I make. I wonder if it has something to do with the age of the account? My accounts are usually <2 months old by the time I list my first item.

All my accounts have gone through a phone verification before completing the listing.

I guess it is different with US accounts, when we first create a selling account to do so eBay sends a 4 digit code through text, but after that there is nothing when listing

I thought an account becomes a selling account when you start to sell. That is when you get the 4-digit verification code.
