Paypal often asks people to verify their identity or location with a phone call. I am very sorry if you are having a hard time understanding my posts i just mental finger away and only use punctuation to try and separate thoughts but if it is confusing please let me know and I'll try and clarify.

Yes they can call you on a tracfone and yes it works to create and use an account but Not to confirm identity or location and telling people tracfones work for this is bad advice

Oh, that's just a text message they send. PayPal is smart in this aspect because they use "premium SMS" which is a 6 digit phone number to send the code. Many virtual apps are not compatible with this. Tracfone is a REAL cellphone so it can do everything a real phone can. So, using a tracfone you will receive the code paypal sends you to verify your paypal mobile number. Does that help?

Your here to have fun and make fun I am here to learn and try and help others. Simple answer is tracfone great to make and manage an acct but not good for confirm identity or location

One for sure reason is ive tried it personally and a second reason is it makes sense anybody can buy a trac it is a prepaid no credit check no connection to anyone phone and is not a help to confirm identity or location like a landline
