Important Phone Verification Question - HELP Please
 

Ok, so I haven't had to make a new ebay account since last ~April....I'm now back at it making new accounts etc...The way I would do it last time around is register an ebay account, then through the help section I would "Create A Sellers Account" , BUT would list for a few days, just create the account...However now, this time around when I go to create a sellers account it throws in the phone verification step EVEN after I place a credit card! I read all the tips but can't figure out a free way to pass through this phone verification step with a random number...Can some one please tell me what I should do, any links, etc. Thanks A Mil

Just buy a cheap cheap prepaid phone. nothing to it really. $10-$20 depending on where you get it from in the US Walmart has the cheapest ones.

By reading around it I'd say its a fair assumption that people create numerous accounts regularly, I can't imagine they pay this much for a single step in create a single one of their many accounts, so how does one remedy this on a regular basis, thanks a mil!

Man you guys have to do just a little research on your own and it would save you MONEY.
Try this....
You know that little search button at the top of the screen?
Click on it and type vumber in the search box.

I know about vumber and ringcentral...i was under the impression that once you made an account and they had your real phone number on file, it would prevent one from making an account with your real number again....is this true or false?

Not to be rude but you have done NO research or read any information posted on this forum.
Since you are NOT willing to help yourself be reading the information in this forum I am not willing to help you either.

Phone Verification
 

I think that the phone verification is done by automation so you don't actually talk to a real person. All they do is verify that it is a working number. So just go buy a cheap disposable phone or use a phone number of a friend. There verification process is pretty impersonal.
