"We've tried to call you a few too many times"
 

When I try to make a USA ebay account, I get this message instantaneously when I try to verify my account, the phone number I used was a Disposable number from the app "Disposable Number".I tried signing up with a different email and still I get the same message. I am not in the USA and I am using a VPN for browsing USA sites.

The full message is "We've tried to call you a few too many times, so you'll need to wait 24 hours before you try again."

Welcome to the forums. VPN is troublesome to use - especially if it's a popular service provider...might have burned already.

thanks rsot, so you reckon its the vpn thats the culprit??? i am using nvpn, can you recommend any better??

Sounds to me like a phone number issue

Well - there are a LOT more steps involved...write out how you set up your account - from address to e-mail to cc to bank...

It does sound like a phone issue to me as well since you can't get past the verification and haven't been suspended. So try a different phone number provider.
