Using Pinger for phone
 

I have android smartphone and i used to use pinger to get free text and phone... it gives out local phone number and for 2.00 you get like 100 minutes for free or free minutes by doing like installing apps etc..

has anyone used this app for phone verification or used it for signing up without any issues?

Also i have been told you need a landline phone now to sign up or get verified?

I would love to use my vonage to get phone to redirect to my regular phone but seems i have wifi issues at the moment

The app numbers are getting overused, and now when you use them your using a phone number that may of been from a recently suspended account and than they link and close you down right away

They used to be good now they are way over used and will create problems

Just go get a TracFone, Apps are no longer a valid method.

Landline - while a good option - would limit to only use for one account...and is pricier than tracfone

Also if you are using it to just verify Ebay you can always change the number after set up. Done that a few times too

Ok so pinger is out the door... so I guess I get track one at target or walmart?

If my account gets suspended from stealth I'm guessing I can't use track one again... or am I able to keep phone and then just get new number? would kind of suck to try opening many accounts and pile of tracfones... let alone the cost... I'm hoping it's under 15 dollars for one of these

In order to change your phone number, you will need to contact our Customer Care Center at 1-800-867-7183 and a representative will assist you with the process.

I believe they charge to do this however.

I have a feeling these new 0/0 limit accounts are because of phone numbers from the different apps like pinger, Textplus , etc..

They immediately trigger an ID check

Online phone services have IPs attached to them which can be traced a lot easier than a real cell phone.

I never use these app based phones since day one since I know it'll come to this eventually, plus I need a reliable phone service.

I think that the $10 for a prepaid phone is worth the peace of mind.

Tracfones are hard to change phone numbers. For some reason you need a new sim card it's really not worth the hassle.

I attached a Tracfone recently. It's a prepaid phone. But it says that the phone isn't registered under my name?

You attached it after they asked for it correct??

You did not use it when you created the account ?

I'm sure that is what you did here, whatever number you add when u make the account you need to have access to that number all the time

Same here, but i also use the other app for most of my accounts did two yesterday and no problems.

Sometimes things pass the first check and are noticed with the second .

I just think too many used the apps and the numbers have been circulating round and round and are eventually starting to come up as banned from someone less account

Have two that i made a few weeks back and selling no problem, think i might have an idea on why sometimes these app numbers are getting you the 0/0 listing issue. But not 100% sure on it and this is just my theory on it.

I think alot has to do with the area you set fone number at??

My issue is not the limits so much it's more the first mc999 after listing the first item, I have managed not to get any in a year and when all the changes came about now I get that , I know it's a quick confirmation but, I make few accounts a day and it becomes a pain, something has to be triggering this

Do you have a VBA or bank account attached? That seems to be what is triggering it for me when it does get triggered.

DO tracphones come with any minutes or do you have to buy minutes in addition to the phone immediately

Tracfones come with 10-15 minutes.

No longer work...Pinger, voxox, hushed, textnow and many virtual phone # don't work for sms verification..
I tried this weekend with many apps and call forwarding services non worked to verify PP sms verification...

All of a sudden pp sms works with google voice.

Look at the sim cards in back if it has blue letters u can just call and change, but if it has the black lettering the will have to send u out a sim card

Pinger is not working now a days . its not receiving texts

I had a Tracfone not work today for the "Your device is not recognized./That phone does not seem to be in your name" errors. I went to the website and matched the info too, maybe I should wait a few days and try again?

Is that bank account burned now because I tried to add it too? Like if I can't get past the error should I try to add it to another PP?
