Text+ Number of Days of inactivity before Phone Number gets Recycled
 

As I was going thru Textplus accounts , just to send a couple texts and calls to keep active to retain my number, I noticed a few that I had not signed into since the day I created the account with a text message

The message was from Text+

And it was a warning to make a call or text within 5 days or the number will be lost, the account remains active but u will need to get a new number

Anyway it seems that you only get 16 days before the number is dropped due to inactivity

It would be great if they would send that 5 day warning to the email they make you verify but they don't

How about a reminder with your cell phone?

Or add a cell to your excel file to give warning.

That's what I do , is mark it down on an excel sheet the date of when I do my rotations to log in an send a few texts to keep up activity,

Just another task that needs to be done

I was going thru them every 14 days , thinking that it was at least a month, I never realized how close I was cutting it

Sounds like the company has been scant with supplying info in its fine print.
