Question: what kind of activities do you engage in on your ebay accounts before you start selling?

I ask because I don't even add a phone number when I first create an account. They only ask for name and email. I create bundles of accounts at one time real fast just giving my name and gmail.

The majority of them I let "sleep", a handful I will start creating browsing history on. Once I'm ready to list, I create, attach, and link a paypal, which will then have ebay prompt me to add an address, phone number etc.

Does this effect the limits you receive on the account or everything is fine?

Once I sell my first item I am usually given the typical 10/1000 limits.

However, I have noticed that the "sleeper" accounts I have that sit around for a few months DO tend to get increased quicker and more consistently then accounts I list on a week or two after creation.

Aging a buyer's account has close to no risk, correct.

Aging a SELLER's account... that's a whole lot different ball game.

Very true, in my opinion gaining a buyers account and getting feedback and establishing cred with eBay. Makes the transition to selling on eBay much more smooth. If you know how to play the game.

How to play the game is 99% of the arguments on this site about how to create stealth's. What to list what not to list. When to list. How to deal with MC999. What to use for user info, etc. It is all Game Plan questions.

What works for one person may not work best for another. That is just a fact of life. The big question is about finding out about what works best for you and helps you achieve the most success. That is what every stealther on here should be trying to discover.

Hi Jeffweico,

Could you please elaborate more on your system. For instance do you start with google voice and then forward to voip? Do you start with voip from the beginning of your stealth? ARe you able to choose the area code? Could you email me the link because so many are popping up. Thanks.

yes, the auto sweeps on aged accounts ate up 07' accts.. that were dormant.
now the bot sweeps on ebay are worse.

and also the new pp email we all got give buyers even more power to scam us..
sellers power -- remains nil

<insert cartman describing you(seller) here , me(buyer) here >

Could you tell what VoIP service do you use? Does it forward SMS's as well, or voice calls only? Could it be used to confirm the phone # with PayPal? Thanks.

The service I use allows me to either transmit the number calling in to my caller-id, or transmit the CALLED number (my stealth number) to my caller-id. This allows me to program the stealth names into my cell phone and carry only ONE phone with me. If someone calls in, I won't know WHO is calling, but I will know WHO I am supposed to be! Works like a charm.

If you need TracFones, let me know, I have several dozen sitting in a closet.

Might have to research it hard Nebu...these services, once publicized, will be abused to the ground
